Thank God for YouTube!!

I've been able to revisit my childhood lately.  despite my hectic work schedule and lack of sleep last week, I was... unable to sleep Sunday nite.  So, I went on YouTube!  And aren't I glad!!  Somehow I decided to search Skid Row, my favourite 80s metal band as a child.  I never thought I'd actually find much except for a few of their most popular mvs.  But WOW what do I know!  There were so much on them, much more than i expected!   Thank God for YouTube, I got to watch videos I haven't seen for 16 years!!! Found out where they are now and where they have been for the pass 10 years or so.  Made me remember those times when I listened to their album. It's a time that seems long gone.

This Skid Row/Sebastian Bach marathon went on for the rest of the week. . .  and it's still going on.  I find something and watch something new everyday.   I am fascinated

Man Sebastian Bach was a beautiful man back then.  And his voice!  omg his powerful voice!!!  Bach's voice is extrodinary, he has a very distinct set of pipes that make him unique and set him apart from all the generic David Lee Roth wannabe singers from the late 80s.

Skid Row is the best Hard/Rock, Metal band of the late 80s/ early 90s!!!

That performance of Youth Gone Wild in Moscow back in '89 just took my breath away!

How much I loved them and Still do!!  Thank you YouTube for bringing them back in my life again.

Bach is my man

This might be Mid Autumn festival to everyone else, but to me it's a BIG day because of another reason. This is the day of the long awaited Leonardo Dicaprio + Martin Scorsese movie 'The Departed'

And it's a masterpiece!

I was so excited, I haven't felt so excited about a movie for a long long time!  It made me feel 18 again!!!

I knew Leo and Matt Damon would be great, but they were even better than I thought, they were magnificiant!  They have proved themselves to another level, class A, top notch acting..

Loved it! LOVED IT!!

Watched 'Click' today, I just love Adam Sandler.  People actually cry at comedies when it's his comedy, same thing happened in '50 First Dates'.

Funny and mushy

And the cheesy parts are what makes it even better!!!

Also, I have to thank him for reminding me that life is too short to waste it away, especially doggie years!! awe..........

5th anniversary

5th anniversary of 9/11

I spent most of my evening revisiting sites, watching a BBC special, and playing the live memorial service on my computer.?

Every time I look back at that tragic day 5 years ago, I learn something new about what happened and about life, how precious it is.About choices, and how it affects other's lives.?

'I can just pass by her like the rest of them, but I will know'

3 years and then... 3 years

What is it with me and concerts??  I can never seem to enjoy them.  Hope the up coming Mariah Carey concert will change all that!

3 years and then 3 years... none of us can avoid it.  This is the perfect day to watch the movie 'I need to be famous'.  Should be extra special to watch that today and not to mention, extremely funny!!!

Life is a bitch
